Life is short. Stop and smell the roses and visually enjoy all the trees, shrubs and flowers at Ladew Topiary Gardens in Monkton, Maryland.
   The Ladew gardens consist of a central area with The Great Bowl and fountain and many topiaries and, "on the side", are beautiful garden "rooms." Each Garden Room has a color or other theme: White Garden, Yellow Garden, Garden of Eden, Sculpture Garden and Iris Garden and others.
  Enjoy these photos were taken from trips to the Ladew gardens in late May. Some of the plants blooming were: Kousa dogwood, iris, viburnum, lilac, azaleas, peony, liburnum and rhododendron
